Details:
I was born to Sharon Artis and Gary R. Jones on November 28, 1975, in Washington, DC. From what I can remember as a kid was living many different places in Washington D.C. and the Metropolitan area. The first place that comes to mind is 7th and L Streets, N.E., where I attended O.J. Wilson Elementary School and lived with my grand parents for a short time. Other places growing up were Sersum Quadas, off of 1st Street, N.W. I can not forget the Malbury Plaza Apartment Complex on Good Hope Road, S.E. where I resided for a few summers and attended the Walker Jones Elementary School. While attending this school I experienced a few troubles and was sent to live with my great grand parents, who resided in Hyattsville, MD in a community called Avondale. This is where the vision of (Hip Hop) began, while attending Chillum Elementary School and participating in various song and dance performances, that a few music teachers noticed my talent. I knew at early age that I had this talent and would show off in the presence of my friends.

At that time I was writing words that were filled with a lot of profanity. But listing to the real artist, Heavy D, Salt and Pepper, Public Enemy, MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, UTFO, Rakim and Eric B. I could speak on and on about the old school hits. I often think about North Western High School on Adephi Road, in Hyattsville, MD where it all started to change for me. I, along with neighborhood friends decided to form a Go-Go band. My experience with the band took me to where I really wanted to be, on the front line, with the "MIC". The band crew visited Clubs where Go-Go performances were being held. We performed all over the metro area at talent shows and other similar occasions for 4 years.

Later, I decided to go to college, where I majored in criminal justice. I felt that college was a step I needed to take. The college days placed me in situations where I ran into other rappers from many cities and states. None felt that a rapper could come out of DC. Some people supported me and some did not. But, there is no love lost. I always knew that the talent I displayed, I would revert back to my Hip Hop roots. I am grateful for the opportunity to be one of the first artist to come out of D.C.

I want to give thanks to GOD for giving me this talent, and my friends and family for their support. A special thanks to Leon Stewart, Producer, SOW Records; Adrain (Max) Barnes, Engineer and Rodney (Dangerfeel) Russell, Music Arrangements.
