World Peace was recorded in New York City at The Hit Factory, Donald Fagen''s River Sound, and in Gil''s home studio. The album was produced by Grammy award-winning producer Greg Ladanyi (Don Henley, Jackson Browne, Toto, Fleetwood Mac), Jerry Moratta (Peter Gabriel, Tony Levin, Hall and Oats, Edie Brickel), and Gil Silverbird. Mastered at award-winning Cimarron Sound Lab (https://www.tradebit.com).
The tracks on this album feature a variety of world-renown players including Will Lee (bass), Tony Levin (bass), David Fields (guitar), Jerry Moratta, (Percussion)Pura Fe (backgroud vocals) and also features the Silverbird Family.
Gil Silverbird Bio: Composer, Performer, Actor, Entertainer, Producer-Director.
Gil has been featured in many television, Film, and Off-Broadway productions. His television appearances include playing a part in the 2002 season of HBO''s "The Sopranos." He has entertained audiences as a featured vocalist on "The Tonight Show" and "The Mike Douglas Show."
He has played parts in two feature films to date, "Enemy Territory," and in "Royal Tanenbaums."
Besides his television, movie, and off-broadway experiences, Gil Silverbird is a talented artist who has traveled nationally with the Native American Dance Theatre and John Tesh''s "One World Tour." He has also performed live with other well-known artists.
In addition to these credits he has performed numerous voice overs and commercials including Faberge, Planter''s Peanuts, MTV, TV Guide, and McDonalds. Gil delivers any type of performance with a lot of heart and soul. This new album is no exception. Reaching back to his roots of Native America and 80''s/90''s Rock/Pop, he presents a new, clear rockin'' message of "World Peace."
