Aram Mandossian, a Hollywood native, is quickly gaining a reputation for his rich textures, powerful orchestrations, and a unique sensitivity toward storytelling. Aram has recently conducted for the show "Lost" on ABC.
Aram brings with him a distinctive sound that has evolved from a wide spectrum of sources. He has been the guitarist in a rock band, as well as having played in a taiko drum ensemble. Aram has always had an immense appreciation for many types of ethnic music. Creating new colors by combining the orchestral forces with electronic and ethnic eelements is an integral part of Aram''s compositional process.
Aram holds a graduate degree in Film Scoring from USC where he studied with composers Christopher Young, Jack Smalley, and orchestrator Pete Anthony. He also holds a Bachelor of Music degree from California State University, Northridge.
