Jacki Marie is a ''One woman band'' who performs with the use of laptop computers. She also plays keyboards, & saxophone, & sings a variety of styles such as rock, country, pop, standards, blues, plus her originals. Jacki''s live performance song list consists of well over 800 songs, in which she has created the complete background music to over 300 of the songs herself. She also adds vocal harmony to many of the songs she performs, creating them from her own vocals. Jacki can easily turn from ''performer'' into ''DJ '' with well over 6000 songs to choose from of just about any style!
Originally from Indiana, Her Main Residence is now in the Phoenix, Arizona area. She travels through the summer months performing mainly in Idaho, Wyoming & Colorado, & hopes to expand travel to include some of the eastern states by 2009.
Jacki has toured the United States, Western Canada, Hawaii, Japan, Okinawa, Philippines, & Korea. She has performed with groups such as Blue Creek Fever & Future. Some of the artists Jacki has opened for, include George Strait, Firefall, Gary Pucket & the Union Gap, etc. She has also performed for the United States military, at home & abroad, & involves herself with veteran activities from time to time.
Multi-talented, Jacki formed a company called Original Dream Productions, which includes Original Dream Records, & Original Dream Publishing, a BMI affiliate. Jacki is a BMI publisher, & wrote both the lyrics & the music on her CD,'' Hold The Dreams''. This CD has 11 of her original songs, & is very rich in many styles & flavors,.Jacki recently finished the recording of her 2nd, all original CD ,'' I''m Gonna Dream.'' Also rich in an array of styles, it contains 10 songs.
