BIOGRAPHY
15 is a tender age to be filling your days & nights with recording, songwriting, performing, competing & trips to Nashville, but that’s just what Kate Lee has experienced the last couple of years.
Since her 2007 debut CD, “Are We There Yet? ” there have been bookings at distinguished Nashville clubs such as The Bluebird Café and The Commodore. Kate also competed at Nashville’s Grandmaster Fiddle Competition. As well as the State Level Colgate Country Showdown. Kate Lee and her band, No Strings Attached, have opened up for
Rhonda Vincent, Jay Ungar and Lisa Moscatiello.

Kate Lee was also asked to write & perform a song at the 2007 National Center for
Missing & Exploited Children Annual Fundraiser.

She was honored to be the 2007 guest Fiddle Instructor at the New York State Fiddlers’ Hall of Fame, marking herself as the youngest instructor in the history of the Hall of Fame.

She has appeared for live interviews on WHAM Channel 13 Morning Show twice and numerous radio stations. Currently, her music is getting play time on New York State stations such as: WBEE, WUHF, WRUR and WCJW. And in Nebraska on station KUTT.

Kate Lee was a member of the Hochstein Youth Orchestra in 2006, & now in 2007 is currently a violinist with the Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, as well as performing with her High School Orchestra and Select Choir. Kate Lee has received numerous academic awards, including the Publishing of “Are We There Yet? ” in a National competition.
She holds a status of High Honors with Distinction.

BAND BIOGRAPHY
♫ CHUCK BODA ♫
Bass - Chuck’s musical roots began at home, inspired by his Father’s country/western guitar playing & his Mother’s ukulele playing. After several years of playing rock & roll, he discovered bluegrass & folk music. Chuck has played with several bluegrass bands such as North Forty, Borrowed Time and Cabin Fever.

Guitar, banjo, mandolin, cittern – Ben is a perfectionist in everything musical. Ben has played in various bluegrass bands as well as act as guitar accompanist at the Kanack School of Music. He can never get enough practice and always strives for improvement for the band as a whole.

♫ JOHN IRVINE ♫
Banjo, mandolin – John is the latest “string” to join the group. He’s noted around town as “a monster banjo and mandolin player”. John has played in numerous bluegrass bands, most recently, with Cuttin’ the Grass. John sits in with the band whenever his busy music schedule allows. You can bet that things are bound to get lively when John is on board!
