Boston''s Reverend Glasseye has often been labeled Dark Salvation Music; cautionary tales filled with American Superstition and human frailty. With the pomp and production of some unclean orchestra, their live performances have become notorious spectacles, with a cult-like following of well dressed, flower wielding celebrators. Consider this Post Romantic Revivalist Glam, or perhaps simply Gospel Cabaret Punk.

Reverend Glasseye is the brain child of Adam Glasseye (ex- Slim Cessna''s Auto Club), Timothy Maher (drums, also ex-Slim Cessna''s), and Piet Masone (Vocal Harmonic Superman and stone faced gospel organist). The group has been rounded out by the addition of Paul Dilly on the Upright Bass and Lead Guitar, Cassandra Lomas on the Trombone and Tuba and Kevin Corzett on the Saxophone and Clarinet. Frequent guests include Tom Hagerman (Denver Gentlemen, DeVotchka), Paul Fonfera (Woven Hand, DeVotchka and Jim White) and Stevhen Iancu (The Dolomites, Gogol Bordello).

Their Debut Release, Black River Falls was warmly welcomed by press and radio alike, ranking number seven on CMJ''s most added list and claiming a spot on the top 200 for six weeks. The Album has gone on to sell thousands of copies worldwide, creating an international underground following, and has been honored with accolades from the likes of the Boston Music Awards, Boston Phoenix awards, Performing Songwriter Monthly and the CBC. Reverend Glasseye''s second release, Happy End and Begin was released Fall 2004 on Ottawa''s Music For Cats Records, to critical praise and quickly went on to become the Label''s Top Seller. Recently, Reverend Glasseye won Boston''s most prestigious battle of the bands, WBCN''s Rock and Roll Rumble. The Band''s increasing tour schedule has packed venues from Boston to Los Angeles, Missoula to Ottawa and has granted the band performances with the likes of Rasputina, Gogol Bordello, Sex Mob, The World Famous Pontani Sisters and the Dresden Dolls.

Their next album, "Our Lady of the Broken Spine" will be released on November 8th.
