Andrew has been writing and performing music for over thirty years. He draws his inspiration from both the hard-driving, secular rhythms of musicians like the Beatles and Yes, to the lyrical beauty found in the music of Debbie Friedman, Dan Nichols, and a host of others who have made their marks in the burgeoning world of Jewish music.
For almost half a decade, Andrew has been the lead musician and songleader at a Northern Lake County Congregation. Under the guidance of the Rabbi, his talents have grown and flourished. As one congregant puts it, "If the Rabbi is our spirit, Andrew is our heart. "Andrew''s music is one of the keys to our services."
Andrew has continued his spiritual journey over the years. He is currently a Music teacher as well as a Music Director, and where he takes special delight in teaching the music of today''s brightest composers to the next generation of Jews. He has also become an enthusiastic participant in the URJ''s annual songleader''s kallah, Hava Nashira.
