Desde los cuantro años la voz de Cristy Arias asombraba a todos los que la escuchaban cantar.
Su papá, arquitecto cubano, le cantaba las canciones de su adorada Cuba y los éxitos de Broadway mientras que su tía Enma entonaba con su magnífica voz de Mezzo soprano las más famosas "árias". En este sencillo y amoroso entorno comenzaba Cristy su educación musical.
Cuando su familia exilada de Cuba, se mudó para Conneticut, su hermana Celia, ahora conocida cantante en Puerto Rico, la subía a una silla y le enseñaba hacer una segunda voz a las nuevas canciones que aprendía en el coro de la escuela, cuando Cristy apenas tenía ocho años.
Se distinguió como solista del coro del colegio de San José de Villa Caparra, en Puerto Rico, donde pasó sus felices años de Secundaria y empezó a cantar en bodas, hacer comerciales de Radio y TV, además de presentaciones en programas televisivos con Chucho Avellanet y otros artistas de la Isla.
Tuvo el papel principal en varios musicales de Broadway, y en la obra "Camelot" conoció a su esposo Miguel Arias,intrepretando los papeles protagónicos de "Guenevir" y "Lancelot". Se enamoraron y se casaron teniendo tres hijos varones.
Al trasladarse a Miami con su familia, continúa su carrera musical y es invitada a producir su primer disco auspiciado por el "Ministerio Verbo y Vida".
Hasta el presente cuenta con 8 discos incluyendo un disco para niños producido con "Florida Center for Peace".
Numerosos conciertos en los Estados Unidos, Puerto Rico, Panamá, México y Honduras incrementan su fama como cantante cristiana.
Aparece en diversas cadenas de televisión cristianas como "EWTN" y "TBN".
Recibió el premio "Otto" de la "ACRIM" como "Cantante Revelación 1997", en Miami, Florida.
Su esposo, empresario y pintor , le acompaña en sus giras artísticas haciendo a veces coros o acompañándola a dúo en una nueva misión como pareja cristiana que usa la voz y la música para evangelizar.
En Octubre de 1999 la vida del matrimonio Arias cambió dramaticamente en un instante. Miguel sufrió un accidente mientras hacía ejercicios en su casa. Su médula espinal quedó lesionada, dejándolo sin movimiento del pecho a las extremidades. Desde entonces Miguel está en silla de ruedas y aunque diariamente confronta muchísimos retos, con la gracia de Dios Miguel y Cristy junto a su familia son un vivo testimonio de una vida guiada por el amor.
Es anfitriona de dos programas de radio, con entrevistas a cantantes y músicos, "Milagro de Amor" en "Radio Paz 830 AM" de Miami, y el éxito internacional "Al Ritmo de Jesús", en "Radio Católica Mundial" de "EWTN".
Considerada como una de las favoritas intérpretes de la música cristiana contemporánea, Cristy toca el corazón de todos con su voz y su vida, llevando el mensaje del amor de Dios.
Cristy, reconociendo su talento como regalo del Creador, le dedica a El sus mejores producciones.

Ever since Cristy was four, her voice astounded those who would hear her sing. Her father, a Cuban architect, would whistle or sing to her his favorite songs from their beloved Cuba, as well as Broadway hits and she would sing them back to him with amazing fidelity. Her aunt Enma would entone her favorite "arias" with her magnificent mezzo soprano voice. In this informal, loving home setting Cristy began her music education.
When Cristy was exiled from Cuba with her family in 1960 they lived in Connecticut for a couple of years and her sister Celia, who is now a well known singer in Puerto Rico, would make her stand on a chair and teach her how to sing in harmony the songs Celia would learn in her school choir.
The family moved to Puerto Rico where she began to stand out as the soloist of her school choir in Academia San Jose of Villa Caparra. Soon Cristy started singing for weddings, TV and radio commercials and appeared on local television with Chucho Avellanet and other artists from the Island.
She obtained the leading role in the Broadway musical "My Fair Lady" and "Camelot" where she met her husband Miguel Arias,each performing the roles of "Guenevere" and "Lancelot". They fell in love and married a year later. They have three sons.
In 1982 the young family moves to Miami where Cristy continues to persue her musical career and records her first album sponsored by "Ministerio Verbo y Vida".
She has since recorded 8 albums including one for children produced by "Florida Center for Peace".
The singer is a guest in many musical events and often gives her own concerts locally and abroad. She has toured around the U.S., Puerto Rico, Panama, Mexico and Honduras. She has appeared on Christian TV through "EWTN" and "TBN".
In 1997 Cristy received the "Otto" award given by the "Acrim", a local organization that awards national and international talents.
Her husband, a fine artist and her manager, accompanies her in her tours. At times they sing together as a duo .
In October of 1999 the couple''s life was dramatically changed in an instant. Miguel suffered an accident while exercizing, that left him paralized from the chest down. Miguel is in a wheel chair and although the family has gone through many hardships, with the grace of God they are a living testimony of a life driven by love.
Together Miguel and Cristy continue on their journey of faith seeing with new eyes the beauty of life around them.
Cristy presently hosts two radio programs: "Milagro De Amor" that airs through Radio Paz 830AM and "Al Ritmo De Jesus" through Radio Catolica Mundial, EWTN.
Considered as one of the favorite singers of contemporary Christian music, Cristy touches hearts with her voice and her life, bringing the message of God''s love through her unique gift.
