Darrin Allen with co-writer and friend, Dale Belnap, wrote this song about his father who recently passed from his long battle with Alzheimers. It took some time for Darrin to sing this song without tears. He and his father had a very close relationship and he wanted to be able to share his heart-felt lyrics with those who have cared for a loved one with Alzheimers. The day Darrin recorded this song @ Dixiana Music Inc. in Nashville, Tn., he received a phone call from home that his dad had passed away. When he returned, Darrin sang the song @ his dad''s funeral to 500+ family and friends as a tribute to him. There wasn''t a dry eye in the room, including Darrin. From that time on, many friends and fans have asked Darrin to release the full version of his song for others to hear and purchase. Darrin has just decided to do that and he believes his song speaks out for all those wonderful caregivers and their loved ones who have to endure this debilitating disease.
