With a grandfather playing tunes with Cat Stevens, and a brother whose music career is soaring, it can be said that Hannah Acfield, is destined for musical success. This talented young songstress hails from Rockhampton in regional Queensland, but has been gracing Brisbane with her music for the last five years. She has recently moved to Melbourne to further her career in music.

Hannah’s self funded EP “My Tomorrow” was recorded with producer Brendan Anthony (Inxs, Midnight Oil), utilizing his home studio and the studios at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. It was recorded over a period of two months with the help of her band; brother’s Scott and Ken Paterson (used to play with the Veronicas) and talented guitarist Luke Gartner-Brereton.
Hannah has played at many venues around Queensland including the The Arena, Barsoma, Seaworld, The Tongue and Groove and Rics Bar and successfully launched her EP at The Globe in Brisbane in February 2008. She is about to stun the music world in Melbourne, so keep your ear out and expect great things!
