Ricky was 14 when Preservation Music released his debut studio CD "Early For The Show". With minimal performances to date as a solo artist, we were not able to comprehend or even imagine the natural stage presence that this young artist would deliver to his audiences. The summer of 2006 taught us that Ricky not only possessed a real and seasoned stage presence, but that he was one of those special entertainers whose natural place in life was up on stage, in the spotlight. This CD, recorded live at the 2006 Montreal International Jazz Festival when he was 15, is an example of the unique energy, incredible talent and showmanship that is Ricky. For those of you that were in the audience at this landmark performance on July 2, 2006, you understand the magic that comes with a live performance from Ricky Paquette.
