Sharon combines the sounds of Melissa Etheridge, Joan Baez, Carole King, and Janis Joplin mixed together into a great tasting stew. Silverstein’s original songs range through the worlds of folk and blues, resting on the uplifting, inspiring aspects of Silverstein’s voice. Silverstein’s music is used as a catalyst to move people to deeper insight, wisdom and transformation. Her songs have an inherent transformational power, by coupling thought provoking lyrics and unique vocal style. Her lyrics and unique style carry the creative potency of unconditional love and grace. Silverstein’s own inspirational voice, high positive energy, and soul-searching songs are encouraging others to look beyond what they think they are capable of creating and manifesting into their lives. Silverstein attended Mason Gross School of the Arts were she received her Bachelor Of Music degree and a New Jersey Teaching Certificate. Sharon Silverstein is the founder and president of Living At Peace, LLC, a New Jersey based company that provides experiential workshops for both adults and children (https://www.tradebit.com). She is an accomplished guitarist, french hornist, and vocalist. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, grew up in Old Bridge, NJ and now lives in Hillsborough, NJ.

Sharon Silverstein released her self–produced album “Living At Peace” in 2002 and released her second album “Alive” on 2006. Sharon comes from a long history of musical performances and has been performing her music since 1984. Sharon and her work have been featured on local cable television and radio programs, in local and county newspapers, and in national magazines.
