Therese is a classically trained pianist from Portland, Oregon.
She began climbing up on a piano bench at the age of six, pretty much self taught.
It was at a small private high school that she had the opportunity to expand her piano skills, as she became the sole accompanist for all vocal groups and musical productions. It was this experience that lead her to majoring in music, completing a BS in Music from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
Upon returning to Portland, there were no opportunities for her use her degree, but her composing and recording continued, nevertheless.
Today, you can find her playing throughout the year for Port of Portland’s music program, entertaining travelers on layover at PDX. She’s also a regular at open mics and numerous venues throughout the Portland area.
