The Westside Mobb is a inner city posse of family and friends who reside on the Westside of St Louis City, even though city leaders changed the borders in an effort to divide the rich from the poor by making Delmar Blvd the Mason & Dixon line the beat goes on. Black people will still call it the westside until the world blow up. This section is Kingshighway Blvd on the east, I-70 on the north, I-64 on the south, The City Limits/Skinker Blvd on the west. All the Artists on this Cd have felt the pain of the streets of St Louis in one way or the other, some doing prison time or have kin-folks doing hard prison time (ect.). Some have had love one’s killed in the streets of the Lou, or love one’s killed others in the streets of the shadow of the famous Gateway Arch. And they know the real pain of being poor in a city without pity, and speak from the front line of reality and not just the studio.
