Greetings from Bridgetown Syndicate! Emmet (Guitar/Backing Vox) and Hank (Bass/Vox) met in high school; the first time they got together, Hank was introduced to a Ramones ''best-of'' type CD, one that they proceeded to listen to over and over. Both realized that they needed to start something musically - no matter what. So it began.
Searching for a drummer was a challenge: scouring local adds, placing posters around downtown Portland, asking classmates all to no avail etc . . .
Well, conveniently, after meeting Jon (Drums), he decided to take up drums; Hank met Jon about four years ago in his school cafeteria. Jon was listening to Voodoo Glow Skulls on his CD-player, and hank ended up getting in a discussion with him about music. So, when Jon decided to seriously take up drums, things slowly developed. Bridgetown Syndicate''s (initially called ''Resist-Refuse'') members all longed to create politically-charged music; people starving on the streets, radio stations spewing bigotry, and wars and genocide throughout the world all sparked action. With this, Bridgetown Syndicate slowly grew, eventually maturing into its present state.
