Grey Room (Fine Purveyors of Music Created to Corrupt Your Mind) was a local Chicago band. This CD is an interesting blend of styles. We called it ''Sinister Rock and Roll''.
Wayne Kiska (Guitar/Vocals) wrote the more intense pieces. Kiska is still a prolific songwriter with a razor sharp edge and deep insight. Unique progressions and changes are his trademark, and the ability to fit more words into a minute (without digital help) than any other singer in Chicago (Listen to ''The Life''). Keep an eye out for Wayne''s next project.
Matt Kenneally (Bass/Vocals) was the band''s Pop guru. Catchy hooks and lyrics were Matt''s contribution to this project, along with his funky utility bass work.
Matt Kupcso is the flash. Kupcso is undoubtedly one of the greatest lead guitar players you may never hear about. Matt could walk into any session cold, and blow your doors off. Speed, skill and sensitive creativity --- Kenneally and Kiska wrote the songs (excluding ''23'' by Kupcso and ''Edwin Moore'' by Mark Kenneally) that are the stage and springboard for Matt Kupcso''s greatness.
Erik Swanson was the drummer that held it all together.
