I started playing music in and around the New Orleans area in 1958 at age 15. In that same year I recorded a 45 for Enterprise label titled "You''re A Fool" and the flip side "Rolly Polly". I''ve been in the music business ever since. In 2001, I recorded my first CD titled "Let''s Talk About Memories," 2003 "Try Me One More Time," 2004 I teamed up with Aaron Foret and did one called "Two Generations Of Swamp Pop," 2006 "I Love Swamp Pop Music", 2007 "Duane and Friends". I took 12 originals from these CD''s and made The Best Of Duane Schurb Volume 1, with Volumes 2 and 3 to follow at a later date.
