Originally came up with the Big Bands and professional musicians in Australia. Performed with the 4BH and 4IP BIG BANDS (later to become the ABC Big Band)as an outdoor stage Children’s Show Hostess and Compare. Trained to sing the pops by Eileen Dunn and Billy Maher of the (Australian Academy of Music); Diana Evans & Dame Joan Hammond (Conservatorium of Music).
Worked with the Billy Maher Trio; Rolly Lang Quartet; Bob Ware Quintet; Brian King (9pce) Big Band in Australia and later became the first vocalist with the South London Jazz Orchestra in London, UK 1999-2003. Became a distinguished Doctor of Education (https://www.tradebit.com. with distinction)in 1993, with an outstanding career in Further and Higher Education, relinquishing same when faced with life threatening debilitating long-term illness. Began recording professionally in 2006, in convalescence.
