Feijoada is five musicians from Birmingham, Alabama. Their sound is a combination of rock, soul, and funk with plenty of intelligent songwriting. The group recorded its first album in January of ’07 and they have been busy converting fans across the Southeast ever since. Their shows and their debut album combine in-your-face funk onslaughts, high-flying guitar laden rock jams, and ambient thrill rides. They easily and seamlessly move through Latin rhythms, nasty grooves, and love-inspiring soul tunes. The motto at a Feijoada show is “Everyone is a V.I.P.”
