The album was recorded, mixed and produced in the Sonic Blast recording studios and mastered by Loud Mastering. Loud offer the best mastering facility in the Uk and have mastered acts such as U2 and The Prodigy.
Growth & Decay''s main influences include, Leftfield, The Prodigy, The Future Sound of London, Primal Scream, Moby, Orbital, Massive Attack, Nine Inch Nails, The Curve, The Young Gods, Renegade Sound Wave and Meat Beat Manifesto etc.

Growth and Decay has been making dance music for the past 15 years and also has a grounding in classical musical composition. He grew up on the outskirts of London listening to Electro and Hip Hop and during the early 1990s he became enthused by electronic dance music played on the rave and club scene. He regularly MC''d at venues all over the city including Telepathy for DJ Ron, The Drum, Limelight, Labyrinth, The Nut House and The Rocket. He became affiliated with the underground techno artist Satin Storm and toured the country with him, MCing alongside the likes of Evenson Allen of the Rat Pack.
During the late 90s Growth & Decays focus shifted from the live music scene to studio production. The album Electronic Toys represents a body of work spanning over five years.
