Back in the summer of 2001, all Jason Harwell had was some college loans, a nationwide tour under his belt, and a handful of songs that folks thought were good enough to put down on CD. Jason traveled out to Corona, CA and met up with Mike Foster at Plain Joe Studios and tracked what would become this, his first post-college full-length album.
Recorded over a weekend, Building a Better Me is an honest, homespun collection of songs centered around an acoustic guitar and a vocal melody with a few extras thrown in for good measure. This album is also a piece of history - it features the cult classic track, "Bad Student."
