These songs where written around the upper clyde sit in in the seventies i used to deliver around govan in glasgow at the time and got to know some of the men who took over the upper clyde shipyard to save it which they did and most of these songs where based on the stories they used to tell me being a working man myself i felt a bond and believed in there fight for justice which is still the same to this day thanks for your time
