From the Mid-West town of Muncie, Indiana, singer/songwriter Joel Gragg writes with the lyrical depth of an old soul. He infuses his guitar playing and productions with a more modern sense of pop and rock flavors, all the while paying tribute to traditional roots music.
Although Joel began writing songs early on, his musical direction began to take shape while in College playing in bars and coffee houses across the mid-west. Going to school for audio recording soon led Joel moving to Nashville TN, where we worked over the course of 4 years as an independent engineer/producer and touring guitarist. Through a series of events Joel decided to leave the Music City and move back to Indiana to be closer to family and work for a respected Pro Audio Company. It was then he realized what truly drove him to create and record music was to follow his own voice and use his songs to connect with people on issues we all face today both personally and globally. This mission is self evident in his first independent release "When the Dust Settles". With an ever-expanding catalog of new Rock, Blues, Folk and Alt-County classics, Gragg is well on his way to becoming one of the leading songwriters of his generation.
