Judy Welden says, "The song lyrics came about when a family member had started using drugs. I''ve never abused any substances myself, but do know first hand about the adversity it can cause a person and their loved ones and family. Gary Wayne liked the lyrcs and volunteered to write the music." Although Judy first heard it (in her head) as a ballad, she fell in love with the cool, uptempo melody Gary wrote for it. It went out as a single to stations worldwide on WHP compilation #89 in June, ''08 and was heard live, and well received, at a Celebrate Recovery dinner meeting in Gainesville, GA at the time of the release. Both Judy and Gary have high hopes for this song and truly believe it''s positive message can encourage folks to get ''high'' on natural things! Take a listen and see for yourself...

An artist/songwriter and music publisher, Judy Welden has been writing and releasing songs worldwide since 1992. She toured 7 countries in Europe in ''98 and was on the charts with major singers. She''s released over 80 songs as single releases. Most all have appeared on the Independent charts with over a dozen them reaching #1.
Fourteen (14) artists have recorded thirty two (32) of Judy''s original (or co-written) songs.
Judy has released 7 albums of her original music, 2 of which are Christian CDs, and the others are Country/AC Pop/Blues crossover songs. In addition she produced 19 compilation CDs (Country, AC Pop and Gospel) with herself and over 100 other artists during a period of 6 years (1993 to 1999). She started the Treasure Coast Songwriters Assn. when she lived in Florida. Now residing in GA, Judy is a member of Marquis Who''s Who in Music, and continues to release her original music on WHP compilations to worldwide radio, both am-fm stations as well as internet stations, regularly. Since 2007, 16 songs have been released, most of which have been on various charts, with several of them reaching #1 status. Gary Wayne is an accomplished singer, actor and musician raised in New York. Self taught, he plays guitar, keyboards, drums, harmonica and bass.
For the last 25 years Gary has been based in South Florida, starting out as a musician playing clubs, concert halls and arenas with Rock and Roll bands. Then he moved to theatre where he performed, directed, co-wrote shows and created special programs.
Currently Gary Wayne uses his talents performing as a DJ, one man show, and/or Karaoke host and continues to use his creativity writing songs.
