Walk Away
Walk away is the debut release for musicians Mike Marrocco and Richard Fields. This album represents a full line up of smooth jazz tracks ranging from funk, r&b, hip-hop, pop and latin. The album is comprised of all original works written, played, and produced by Mike and Richard through their production company MJM Productions Inc. Stay tuned for upcoming concerts and live appearances by these two dynamic artists.
Mike Marrocco
As a producer and musician Mike Marrocco’s talents can be heard on a wide variety of projects and styles. Mike is a Miami Native, who has grown up in the culturally rich South Florida scene. As a young player Mike was a student at the prestigious New World School of the Arts, were he was given instruction by some of South Florida’s Premier musicians. He continued his studies at the University of Miami as a student in the Studio Music and Jazz program.
Mikes production credits include work for a wide variety of projects from traditional album productions, production of tracks for artists and bands, engineering and mixing for many artists and bands, placements in TV commercials, tracks published in Nationally syndicated magazine spotlights, as a studio musician for other top producers, and as a musician for artists ranging in diversity from Arturo Sandoval, Wynton Marsalis, Rafael en Concierto, Barbara Cook, and many others. Mike is especially proud of his debut release under MJM Productions with Richard Fields entitled, Walk Away.
Richard Fields
Richard was born and raised in the city of Miami. He started playing trumpet at the age of thirteen where he received the opportunity to study in the music conservatory at New World school of the arts. At New World Richard rose through the ranks to become lead trumpet in school ensembles. Upon graduation Richard went on to attend the music conservatory at SUNY Purchase in New York. Richard graduated with a BFA in Performing Arts. In addition he established himself in the music scene as an up and coming trumpet player in south Florida. His training has been in classical music, with world-class trumpeters and musicians, such as Brian Neal, and world-renowned trumpet soloist Graham Ashton. Richard is especially proud of his debut release under MJM Productions with Richard Fields entitled, Walk Away.
