Haley Jane is Acoustic Rock for your enjoyment. Originally formed in 2001, the group started as an acoustic duo with lead singer Toby Slade and lead guitar player Michael Santander. After a short while the band adopted A drummer and Bass player Scott Schatz. Through playing a myriad of venues from hotel lobbies and house parties to bars and music festivals Haley Jane came to be what you hear today. In 2005 the band picked up it''s current drummer Matthew Shepherd and pianist Paul Tiller. Recorded at Tucson''s infamous Wavelab Studios in 2004, Modern Entertainment is a crisp clean record showing the various sounds Haley Jane can acheive. The project, with the help of producer Craig Schumaker, and a team of other local musicians, came to be an awesome collection of original "Modern Entertainment". Their music has been compared to the likes of The Counting Crows, The Dave Matthews Band and Matchbox 20, but you''ll have to listen for yourself to make that decision.
