Ben Smith, Jr., better known as: Lil’ Ben aka “Smitty” was born and raised in South East Denton, TX (S.E.D.). “Smitty” has completed his first CD titled: 100% Real Talk released June 2008. He has been rapping since youth and decided that 2008 was a year of New Beginning birthing 100% Real Talk. Mr. Smith has opened for such acts as: Paul Wall (Swisha House) by chance, Big Hub, Hood Kingz, Brave Combo (Two Time, Grammy Award Winning Band) and many others. Being real and letting his swag speak for him, it’s simply, 100% Real Talk… Smitty was recently interviewed by the Denton Record-Chronicle and featured in the June 19, 2008 Denton Time Issue, for his Juneteenth performance and CD Release. He has been receiving airplay from numerous radio stations throughout the land. Mr. Smith is represented by JIJ Entertainment’s very own, Mrs. Keiva Trammell- Jackson. Smitty is currently working on his next album The B-Day Special October 2008.
