Hamhock and Slide met in 1996. Hamhock was playing bluegrass banjo at the time and Slide was performing in a southern rock band playing slide on a fender strat. Both were introduced by thier brothers and jammed together on that day and havent looked back since.
Hamhock and Slides music has elements of bluegrass, funk, and influences of the Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, as well as Robert Johnson and Son House.
Ham & Slides blend of "Cracker Blues", can only be described as guaranteed to bring a smile to even the crustiest curmudgeon, and play thier music like they are in your living room.
