Her debut recording, Sunrise, (distributed under her former name, Lois Dawson) consisting of all original compositions received widespread critical acclaim. Her second recording, Closure, has been released in a limited edition, and features three jazz classics as well as six original compositions. Additionally, she is featured on the 2002 independent release, "Sometimes I Feel..." a collection of Negro Spirituals arranged by Barbara Cooke featuring violinist India Cooke and pianist Marva Cooper. Lois''s highly anticipated new release is scheduled for this fall.
