Daniel Indart is a composer, songwriter and producer who specializes in Latin music for film, television, and records. His music credits include the theme song on NBC’s new hit “KingPin,” music for HBO’s The Sopranos and a host of films clients, including Disney, Sony, and Showtime.

Daniel owns and manages six music companies that provide a full range of music services. LatinMusic Specialists, which provides music for television and films; Indart Music Publishing, a member of ASCAP; Grinner Music Publishing, a member of BMI; LMS Records, which features recordings from new Latin artitsts; Hot Latin Tracks, which offers an extensive music library; and Indart Music and Sound Productions specializes in music for the advertising industry.

Latin Music Specialists recruits and develops songwriters, vocalists, and musicians and features a growing catalog of music from all Latin genres, including Salsa, Tango, Flamenco, Merengue, Mariachi, Latin Rock, Techno Cumbia and the latest in contemporary Latin music.

Founded in 1986, Indart Music and Sound Productions serves a broad range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to public service projects with a history of success producing music for commercial advertising campaigns. Indart Music projects have won Belding Awards, Se Habla Español Communications Awards, Telly Awards, and The Sunny Achievement Award.

In 2001, Daniel created the soundtrack for the computer game “Tropico,” by Poptop Software and GOD Games, winning Best Music of 2001 by Gamespots, Computer Gaming World, and Computer Games Magazine. The soundtrack also won Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition from The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.

As a songwriter, Daniel has written more than 600 songs and commercial music pieces. As a performer, he has recorded three record albums, the lead voice in musical spots for numerous advertising campaigns, and he’s sung accompaniment for Plácido Domingo, Ana Gabriel, Gloria Trevi, Pimpinela, Xuxa, “We Are The World” by Quincy Jones, Humberto Gatica, and many others.

Daniel was born in South America with a passion for Latin Music. His mother, a world-renowned dancer and choreographer, performed Flamenco through her seventh month of pregnancy and introduced Daniel to musicians and dance professionals from all over the world. In 1977, a promising young artist in his own right, RCA International signed Daniel to its stable of performers and two songs from his first album became number one hits on the South American charts.

Daniel’s academic excellence and business sense earned him a full scholarship and a B.A., Magna Cum Laude, in film scoring from Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Try and say, in one breath: artist; singer; songwriter; Vice-President/Producer, Indart Music and Sound Productions; CFO/A&R/Executive Producer, LMS Records, Latin Music Specialists, Hot Latin Tracks Library, Indart Music Publishing and Grinner Music Publishing. Throw in chief bottle washer and taxi mom and you have a summary of the talent, expertise and value Sara contributes to the operation(s). Born in Caracas and raised in Cleveland, she relocated to Los Angeles in 1984 to help partner, Daniel Indart, establish and develop a small music house. It’s grown. Incidentally, her TV and film credits include The Shield, CSI Miami, CSI NY, American Family, Sleeper Cell, Cold Case, Jake 2.0, The Handler, Club House. Credits for independent films and commercials are too numerous to list. Breathtaking!

Xocoyotzin Herrera is an ethnomusicologist who specializes in traditional Mexican music and teaches in the Department of Chicano Studies at California State University Northridge. He is a multi-instrumentalist who has recorded and performed nationally and internationally with renowned groups such as Conjunto Hueyapan, Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano and Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez. Other credits include recordings for Walt Disney Records and Grammy-Award winning Mexican rock band Jaguares. As a composer for Indart Music, his work has been featured in films and television programs such as Akeelah and the Bee, Little Miss Sunshine, The Shield, Resurrection Blvd., Malcolm in the Middle, Veronica Mars, The Unit and many others. He’s the real deal.

Danny Osuna, already a versatile contemporary composer and a prolific writer of both cutting-edge modern and traditional music, his ability to compose for different styles and genres is limitless. He started early, graduating from high school with the prestigious Louie Armstrong Jazz Award. Some of his TV & Film credits include: compositions for The Shield, CSI Miami, CSI NY, American Family, Sleeper Cell, Cold Case, Jake 2.0, The Handler, Club House and many independent films; commercials for McDonalds, Chevy, Jack in the Box, IKEA, Mc Cormick, Payless Shoes, Bounty, Nextel, Coors, Comcast, Beck''s Beer, See''s Candy, Johnson & Johnson, Pro Active; and countless credits as a producer/arranger.
