Details:
On his debut solo artist album, Sam Faraci illustrates his command of the piano, as well as his skills in the recording studio. Writing and playing styles ranging from romantic piano ballads, to new age, and country rock, Sam has only just begun to discover where his song-writing, and recording studio abilities will take him.

Sam Faraci was born and raised in Connecticut. Sam''s musical training began at age seven with classical piano. Throughout high school he became involved in jazz groups, and formed his own band which played through New England. With this band, Sam performed at many prominent venues in New England, including The Palladium in Worcester, MA, Lupo''s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, RI, and the Iron Horse Music Hall and The Pearl Street Nightclub in Northampton, MA. During this time, Sam''s musical interests grew from the likes of Smashing Pumpkins and Phish, to Jim Brickman and and house music, and everything in between. His affinities for these different genres lead him to begin writing songs of various styles at around age 16.

As high school neared an end, Sam decided to make music his primary career goal. Anything music, including writing, performing, producing and teaching, Sam wanted to be a part of. He auditioned and was accepted into the music department at Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island, where he received his Bachelors Degree in Music Education. After graduating Providence College, Sam moved to Miami where he entered the SAE Institute of Miami earning a diploma in Audio Engineering. Upon completion of his diploma, Sam was accepted into the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami where he received his Master''s of Music Degree in Media Writing and Production.

Sam began his music production career while at the University of Miami, mixing an album for Bay-Area artist Cava Menzies, as well as co-producing and mixing the debut album of the University of Miami/''Cane Records recording artist LES. Sam had the pleasure of mixing LES'' album with grammy winning engineer Mark Roofe.

Sam''s music has been featured on ABC programming such as the NBA Playoffs, Jimmy Kimmell live, and Good Morning America.

In September of 2008, Sam released his debut solo artist album "From A Storybook." The album consists of 11 pieces all composed, performed, produced and mixed by Sam. The album was written as a wedding favor for guests at Sam''s wedding.

The album, “From A Storybook” was released as digital-download only in late September, 2008.
