Details:
The first full length CD from Columbia, SC Alt-Metal, Hard Rock band Suhgarim! Suhgarim started out as an acoustic duo near Venice, Italy, and is the brainchild and passion of Vocalist/Songwriter Tricia Montfleury and Guitarist/Songwriter Dave Sudak. They have released one EP called When You Bleed in April of 2007 and their first full length in July of 2008, titled "Between Life and Death". After going through some personnel changes they added one of the tightest and most energetic rhythm sections in the Southeast consisting of Patt Trikk on Drums, Charles Traweek on Guitars & Keyboard and J Leidy on bass, formerly of Evil Empire. Patt, Charles and J bring a wealth of musical knowledge and solid skills to the band. They are currently touring the Southeast and have played with The Bullet Boys, Ligion, Blessed by a Broken Heart, Hydrovibe, Wednesday 13, Hot Lava Monster, Black Ritual, Closer, Soul Mites, Zelazowa, Restless Oblivion, Psycle, Lunas Lament and many other bands. With an energetic stage show led by the antics of Tricia Montfleury Suhgarim is plain and simply "bad ass rock and roll!"

"Suhgarim''s frequent local gigs have earned it a fervent fan base and for good reason. Tricia Montfleury''s vocals draw easy comparisons to Evanescence or Lacuna Coil, while the music is a more welcoming alt-ethereal metal. Vive la difference!"

"I have to say the band''s arrangements are as unique as their name. The music has that 80''s nostalgia feel to it. I hear a little Iron Maiden, with a Ronnie James Dio twist to it. And yet, they have that progressive metal edge to it all. Tricia has that operatic feel to her voice, and her lyric structure is intense and well organized, the collaboration of guitars is very skillful and thought out. Patt''s drumming is nothing short of impressive with great beats that blend very well, and the bass is deep and moody"
