Details:
Stathis Campilis was born in Athens in 1987. In small age, he studied music in several conservatories of Athens and acquired a degree in electric organ, classic harmony and he is continuing his studies in composition. He also studies applied mathematics at the polytechnic university of Athens and he performs as a jazz pianist at venues around Athens.
“Sun Railway” is his first personal project. Its sound is a combination of ambient, trip-hop and cinematic music. The production was made in his new home studio.

Ο Στάθης Καμπύλης γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1987. Σε μικρή ηλικία αρχίζει σπουδές μουσικής σε ωδεία της Αθήνας, αποκτώντας δίπλωμα δάσκαλου αρμονίου και δίπλωμα ειδικού αρμονίας. Συνεχίζει τις σπουδές του στα ανώτερα θεωρητικά με απώτερο σκοπό το δίπλωμα σύνθεσης. Επίσης είναι φοιτητής στη σχολή εφαρμοσμένων μαθηματικών και φυσικών επιστημών του Μετσόβιου Πολυτεχνείου Αθηνών. Ακόμα έχει εργαστεί ως τζαζ πιανίστας σε διάφορα μαγαζιά της Αθήνας.
Οι “Sun Railway” είναι το πρώτο προσωπικό του project, ο ήχος του οποίου είναι ένας συνδυασμός από ambient, trip-hop και κινηματογραφική μουσική. Η παραγωγή έχει γίνει εξ ολοκλήρου στο πρόσφατα κατασκευασμένο home studio του.
