Just 20 years old Ch’vell was discovered whilst still 18 on recommendation as a possible substitute as singer for the track “Games Lovers Play”, eventually to be recorded by artiste ‘Linny’.
Nevertheless Ch’vell’s vocal talent was immediately recognised by Green Pepper Junction and in 2006 they took Ch’vell into the studio to record ‘Holding on to Nothing but a Handful of Dreams”. This was presented at the ‘Midem’ festival at Cannes, France in January 2007 where Ch’vell received rave reviews. A second alternative version of the track was recorded and the release date was put on hold until later in the year.
The song “Holding on to Nothing but a Handful of Dreams” was originally written and composed as a gospel song many years ago and though there have been a number of recordings and versions in previous years, none of them have ever been released. There is a video/or dvd to go with Ch’vell’s first single. With an album planned for later in 2008.
With Ch’vell’s voice, looks and personality it’s looking good for Ch’vell to have a hit with her first release.
