Heaven, who was born in Highland Park Michigan and relocated to the south at the age of 3,was raised in a small rural town in Mississippi(Louin). At an early age Heaven began to look for something that would seperate him from the masses. It wouldn''t be until his teenage years that he would find his life long calling. In 1994 he fell in love with an emerging and relatively new genre of music known as rap. Never before had he been able to express himself through song using a medium that was aimed at his peers In early 1995 he formed a group with a longtime childhood friend. Although the two were inseperable their personalities were polar opposites. In finding a name for the group both agreed that the name should reflect their ironic differences. In mid 1995 the group Heaven & Hell was established. With Heaven serving as both the creative force and lyricist behind the group it was no surprise that by 1997 the group was no longer in existence. Although the groups tenure was short lived the name Heaven stuck. In mid 1997 after graduation from high school he decided to continue his education. Performing in talent shows throughout his college years he made a name for himself. By 2002 not only had he made a name for himself but he had also earned a film degree. Blak Monopoly Records was established in mid 2003. It was constructed to be a vocal instrument for the underground and unheard artists. With a degree in one hand and a microphone in the other it was clear to him what his calling was. His debut album "Southern Drawl" speaks volumes about the things he has seen and the stereotypes he has faced being from the deep south. The Album took over 3 years to complete from beginning to end. The main goal of the album is to make a record that you can play from the beginning to the end(no filler). Understanding the many barriers that must be broken down to become a force to be reckoned with in the music Industry. Blak Monopoly vows to give any artist who puts forth an effort a chance. The album "Southern Drawl" is a testimony to Heaven as an artist and as a person!
