Simple Worship came about because of a goal Scott had set to write one worship song a month in 2007. Many of the songs on this project were born out of that season of writing - and the disc also includes a few other personal favorites as well as two bonus tracks that people have requested in recent years. The result is a collection of songs that will encourage, inspire, refocus, remind, and renew the soul.
Scott Krippayne is a singer-songwriter who cares about writing music that reflects life, resonates with people, and touches the heart. He has released 9 CDs to date, which have spawned nine #1 songs. As a songwriter, Scott has had over 200 of his songs recorded by other artists, including 5 additional #1''s and 20 other Top 10s. In 2007 Scott wrote the winning song from American Idol, "This Is My Now", recorded by Jordin Sparks. Other artists who have recorded Krippayne''s songs include Point of Grace, Warren Barfield, Avalon, Sandi Patty, FFH, Jaci Velasquez, Ronan Tynan, and John Tesh. Scott has also authored two books - Hugs For Teens, and More Than A Story - a daily devotional.
