Playing professionally for 20 years and being the owner of Treasure House Studios in Montgomery Al, Kurt has recorded, produced, and performed on numerous CDs for national and regional artists. Among these are Twista, Ying Yang Twins and DJ Smurf along with regional artists Tribe of Judah, Dirty, John Adam Murph, Hennassee, and the Alabama Gravy Soppers.
In studios around the country, Kurt has worked with Glen Duncan, Rodney Mills, Howard Johnston and Teddy Austin. Kurt wrote and arranged the score for the movie “Southern Heart” and the T.V. kid’s show “Chain Reaction”.
Playing around the Southeast, Kurt has performed with Allen Sloan of the Dixie Dregs, Bill Dickens, Bruce Carroll, Jack White, John Adam Murph, Tribe of Judah, Kevin Sport , Sons of March and Audio Waiting.
While playing at music festivals and large venues, Kurt has played with groups leading of for David Allen Coe, Shenendoah, Jodie Messina, 4 Play, Steve Azar and many others.
Kurt has released two solo CDs...”Noel”, a jazz Christmas project and “Images”, comprised of original Jazz/World music. With these CD’s he received frequent airplay with college radio stations in the south.
