The lyrics and melodies on this CD have come through many years of observation as well as my own personal growth.
For years, people have commented on the "spiritual" underpinnings of my writing and have invited me to perform at their gatherings.
I have found a familiar comfort there, as my musical journey began in church as a child.
I decided to compile what I feel are some of my most insightful and inspired works in a special project... something for all of us who are on a similar journey.
What a joy this has been! My hope is that this collection brings you comfort and hope, and perhaps some insight into the realization that we are not alone.
No matter what our path, we are all in this together, and together we make a stronger and more complete "whole".
The journey begins anew each day with lessons, revelations and insights.

Karie''s musical journey began as a child, singing in the church choir.
At the age of 14 she toured Southern California as Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, followed by parts in Godspell.
Pursuing musical dreams has always been Karie''s direction and she has earned her living as a musician since her late teens, in the roles of solo artist, band leader, producer, club performer, songwriter, arranger and recording engineer.
Karie''s scope widened as she toured California, the Pacific Northwest and subsequently Europe.
She continued to develop as an artist, writing songs of depth and versatility, both from observation and personal experience.
Currently signed with a German label/publisher and writing for and producing outside artists in various genres, Karie''s latest personal musical effort is a CD entitled "To Your Heart" - a musically diverse compilation of uplifting, inspirational and healing material due out Fall 2001.
Over the years many have noticed the depth of Karie''s compositions, commenting on the healing, soothing quality of her music and voice.
She has been invited to perform at many festivals, fairs and spiritual gatherings.
Karie is always interested in being involved in activities that promote healing and understanding between all people, cultures and generations, and appreciates the opportunity to share her uplifting music with you.
