HÖKÄLLA BLUESGRUPP were formed in May 2004 and has since then played at clubs, pubs etc, mostly in Gothenburg with surroundings. The group is concentrating on blues with a jazzy feeling. This CD was the first we recorded in the Music Design Studio in Gothenburg. The studio is owned by Lars Wilson (bass) and he also teaches in guitar and bass besides composing (e.a. electroacoustic music and tunes/arrangements for other jazzgroups). Fredrik Nyström (guitar) is also playing in a bluesgroup called Holes In Pocket. The singer Chister Öhman is a music teacher and is also singing in other contellations. Björn Karlsson, appearing with a short solo on "Don''t Set Me Free" is often touring as a soloist in par example in Denmark, Norway and other countries near Sweden.
