Details:
Rick Woodward and Rick Seale perform hook filled Blues with a taste of Folk and R&B. These two regular guys wielding two dangerous guitars have been performing together for twelve years. "I feel the whole concept of the Hoodoo Papas is summed up in the idea of "acoustic gumbo" as a musical genre, states Woodward." Hailing from central Louisiana, the Hoodoo Papas bring a diverse mix of original acoustic songs that represent their roots.

The Hoodoo Papas win crowds over with their live performances. "As we always say, wherever we sit, there''s a party, explains Seale." Their music relates to everyone. They have the ability to reach out and touch the crowd. They make all of their engagements an intimate atmosphere. The papas play music that simply makes you feel like sittin'' on the porch with your favorite person sippin'' your favorite drink.

The Hoodoo Papas continue to tour on their latest release, "Past Due." The Papas have played several venues across Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas. Seale and Woodward are most comfortable performing to large crowds at festivals. The Papas have played over fifteen music festivals and counting.

If you''re interested in a band that plays fantastic music that you can relate to...you''ve found them!

Liner notes from "Past Due:"
For the past 18 months, since the release of our first album "Mojo Hat," we have been writing new songs, performing at festivals and clubs, and preparing for this collection of our music. The selections included here reflect the many experiences and great times we have has as the Hoodoo Papas. For this album, we decided to expand our musical vision by adding piano and drums on some tunes, while striving to keep the original sound of our two acoustic guitars. Thanks to Brian Basco on piano and Darren Osborne on drums for their help in capturing our diverse musical ramblings. Thanks also to our gracious wives for their support throughout all the late nights, missed weekends, crazy road trips, and insane twists and turns that we have brought into their lives as we continue our quest to be "Two Regular Guys; Two Dangerous Guitars."
