This is what happens when you spend too much time alone! I screamed for help but no one listened! But now is your chance.
I started playing guitar as a hormonal driven teenager. Since I liked the feel of wood, guitar seemed a natural transition. I used to play only on weekends with close friends...then came the "addiction". Before I knew it, I was playing four or five nights a week. As time passed,I found myself looking for a fix anywhere I could... street gigs, filling in for missing musicians, bar mitzvahs, you name it.
Then that wasn''t enough. I found the "high" not as satisfying. So I started on the hard stuff...keys, drums, even four string bass....then five string. Once the addiction gets hold, it''s hard to shake, unless you''re in the groove!
Later, I found myself drying out in the mountains of east Tennessee. I put all those toys of addiction away and with them, the dream.
I moved out west where I found my most wonderful, loving wife (all you guys should be jealous!). During our dating period, I shared with her some of my earlier recordings. She suggested that I pick back up where I left off. With her constant support (no...not nagging.... she''s not a nagger; she''s a little white woman!) I purchased a digital recorder, got the instruments out of storage and the rest is musical history?
This album, Innocence Lost, is my first release. It is a solo project with the only help from the outside is one keyboard track on "For the Rest of My Life", which was performed by my brother, Bruce. The songs on this CD vary greatly, from classic rock type stuff to easy listening, a touch of punk and even some bluegrass. There should be something for almost everyone to enjoy...except for the youngsters. Some of the material may be inappropiate for them!
