This CD was recorded in Washington, DC at American University with a now well-known movie post production audio engineer who''s credits include sound design for Harry Potter 3! Bjorn Schreoder of Munich, Germany took Regatta 69 into the studio in 1991-92 while attending AU. These are 18 of the 30 songs recorded in those sessions. This is the CD that defined the real sound direction Regatta 69 has branded Pop-Ska...Not old-school or try to be ''60s ska but a completely forward-looking pop-ska brand. During these years Regatta 69 often graced the stage of the old 9:30 club and other DC venues with groups like Checkered Cabs, Selecter, Toasters, Let''s Go Bowling, Bim Ska La Bim, Bosstones. The Third Wave of ska music was about to hit the USA hard and Regatta 69 would soon tour in 42 states from 1994-1998 playing more than 1000 concerts in 42 states around the USA.
