Romeos Bleeding
„Romeos Bleeding“ is a young & ambitious newcomer from Giessen (Germany). Since their start in 2005 they experienced a lot of styles concerning music and members within the band.
They started off with five guys who couldn’t elude the charm of self-made songs. Every single member realised that with a lot of commitment and endless hours in the band room something big could happen. After all the positive feedback from gigs they got even more sophisticated and wanted to live the dream.
More and more ideas came up and after the band refined on the existing materials they won a local bandcontest: The “Generation Music Festival”. No one played a gig like that before but this was a turnaround. Romeos Bleeding got addicted to the stage (they call it: applausedrug) and wanted more. Within the following year they played like 20 gigs and knew they need an album.
At the beginning of 2007 that idea started to turn into a concrete concept. Winning the CreaTon Studio as a partner was the starting shot for the realisation. The owner Volker Seidler was very positive about that concept and RB got one step closer to their dream of experiencing the music business. In the course of the prearrangement for the recording sessions they thought about a female voice for backings. They asked Sarica and after some sessions the band knew that she would be valuable in the future. From that moment on Sarica was a part of the band.
In January 2008 the album “A Year Gone By” got released. The successful start shows already that the fanbase of Romeos Bleeding gets bigger and bigger and nationwide requests lets the dream go on. You could and should say that they are an up-and-coming newcomer and be aware of the future. They will be in it.

"Romeos Bleeding“ ist eine junge, aufstrebende Newcomerband aus Gießen. Gegründet im Jahr 2005 haben sie schon einiges erlebt in punkto Musikrichtung und Konstellation der Bandmitglieder.
Angefangen hat alles mit fünf Jungs, die sich dem Charme selbstgeschriebener und selbstkomponierter Songs nicht entziehen konnten. Schnell wurde klar, dass mit viel Einsatz und unzähligen Stunden im Proberaum ein eigenes musikalisches Konzept auf die Beine gestellt werden konnte. Durch viel positives Feedback bei Live-Auftritten wurde dann eins klar: Der Startschuss dieses Konzept in die Tat umzusetzen war gegeben.
Vom Ehrgeiz gepackt feilten sie - mittlerweile zu viert - immer weiter an den schon bestehenden Songs und konnten sich vor neuen Ideen kaum noch retten. Im Mai 2006 gewann Romeos Bleeding einen lokalen Bandcontest der Modern Music School: das „Generation – Music – Festival“. Bis auf Ausnahmen standen die einzelnen Bandmitglieder vorher noch nie auf der Bühne, aber mit diesem Auftritt war es passiert: Die Applausdroge hatte angeschlagen und sie wollten mehr! In der nachfolgenden Zeit haben sie ca. 20 Gigs gespielt und schnell wurde klar, dass ein erstes Album aufgenommen werden muss.
Anfang 2007 ist diese Idee zu einem konkreten Vorhaben geworden. Als Partner konnte das CreaTon Studio in Lollar gefunden werden. Der Studioeigentümer Volker Seidler war ebenfalls von der Musik überzeugt und ermöglichte so die Umsetzung des Albums. Im Zuge der Vorbereitungen für die Studioaufnahmen kam der Gedanke auf, in einigen Songs eine Frauenstimme als Backgroundgesang einzusetzen. So wurde Sarica gefragt, ob sie Lust hätte mitzuwirken. Nach einigen Proben zeigte sich jedoch, welch eine enorme Bereicherung Sarica für die Band ist. So wurde sie kurzerhand mit ins Boot geholt.
Im Januar 2008 wurde das Album „A Year Gone By“ der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt. Der erfolgreiche Startschuss des Albums zeigt bereits, dass die Fanbase von Romeos Bleeding stetig wächst und überregionale Anfragen den nationalen Erfolg der Band erhoffen lassen. Romeos Bleeding kann somit als hoffnungsvoller Newcomer angesehen werden und man kann gespannt sein auf das, was in Zukunft noch kommt.
