Hailing from P-dena, the City of the Roses, RC has been spittin'' rhymes since he was a teen. This young talent is the quintessential upstart performer destined for stardom in today''s hot music. At only 24, he has already worked with some of the most influential figures the industry has to offer.
In music''s homogenized arena, the hardest attribute artists strive for is a sense of originality. Never limiting himself, he boasts a strong command of universal hip-hop culture. Armed with an open mind, RC successfully melded several influences, eventually emerging into an engaging presence both in the studio and on stage. Utilizing styles of both powerhouse coasts, RC defies any categorization.
RC has already created quite a buzz in the Los Angeles local scene. Never far from an audience, he has shared the stage with Too Short, NAS, EnVogue, Kris Kross, Zapp, MC Search of 3rd Bass, and Rapp''n-4-Tay. He also performed in concert for HBO Productions.
He began his professional recording experience in a group called the Durtee Unit and recorded some tracks with Silk-E-Fine. His solo departure further increased his visibility and found him paired with Jon B on the "Let You Shine" remix from the multi-platinum album, "Cool Relax." The multi-platinum production company, Redwood, who featured him on a national Pepsi commercial, has also recognized his talent. He is currently showcased on a compilation hip-hop album that is selling well in local stores.
With a wealth of experience and artistic gifts at his disposal, RC is on a mission.
