POP: Folky Pop, FOLK: Gentle
Details:
Jan Reed''s seductive vocals and gentle guitar rhythms are soothing if not inspired. Drawing on influences such as Suzanne Vega, The Sundays, and Eddie Brickell, Iberis is a fresh and honest voice in the muck of the mundane.

Iberis, in my opinion, is one of the best kept secrets in Salt Lake. The sweet sensitive vocals combined with the gentle tickling of the guitar, fiddle and other grass roots instruments set a dreamy, peaceful mood that reminds me of a warm summer day or driving in a car on a lonely road. Iberis'' music is insightful, loving and very inspiring! The lyrics are whimsical and poignant, yet they glow with a sense of longing, intent and soul searching. If you want an album that is beautifully produced and edited, that is calming, tranquil and serene, I would definitely recommend picking this one up! From beginning to end, this album is a delight. It truly is delectable ear candy for the heart and soul! If I could pick the next big thing, this group of very talented musicians would be it!
