Hailing from Thatcher, Arizona, Marcus has been writing and recording music for the past four years, fine-tuning the many faces of his sound. The singer/songwriter draws inspiration from a diverse pool of great artists like the Beatles, Beachboys, Guster, MXPX and Dashboard Confessional. Each track is unique, allowing Marcus to make connections with his audience on many different levels.
Marcus has had positive feedback from his live performances which he puts on at local venues. He released his first album on May 5th and is continuing to create music for future CD’s. He hopes to put on more live shows, tour and get song placements in movies and television shows. "
On more personal note: I love music... I love to play music.... that''s about it in a nutshell... I''m just here to do what I love and hopefully bring others joy along the way. I''ve been recording a lot of demos for the last year or so, and just recently finished redoing all of my songs to prepare them for my album which will be released May 5th! Soon I will be starting to play shows around Southern Arizona, and who knows, possibly other places... This music is written, performed and recorded by me. On a few tracks I ask friends to contribute their mad musical skills in the drum and guitar areas, but for the most part it''s all me.
