Having just released their debut EP Bittersweet Byway recorded by ARIA winning producer Jonathan Burnside and mastered in LA by Stephen Marcussen (Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, The Fratellis), the boys are having an excellent 2008! After four or so years gigging about the place (sharing the stage with acts such as Young and Restless, The Cops, The Inches and Unpaid Debt) things have really clicked and people are noticing. Skratch Magazine in LA and Starving Kids Records in Brisbane have both included demo versions of Manilla Green''s tunes on their latest CD samplers. The boys have also enjoyed playing a lot more shows outside their home state with some of their most loyal supporters calling towns like Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra & Newcastle home. All in all, the lads are
pretty happy with their new recording as it attracts airplay at home and abroad.
