Hello, we''re Mill Race. I guess you''d call us an art-rock band if you wanted to quickly label us. Our music draws on retro electronic, old folk/country, vintage prog and modern classical, among other things. It''s 90% carefully composed, 10% clouds of improvised noise. We have respect for grit, imperfection, lo-fi, pop sense, humor, DIY and simplicity, as well as for complexity, craft and the highbrow. We''re from Salem, Oregon and we love it here.
