THE INFAMOUS erupted onto the Chicago scene with thier late 1998 debut album BULLETPROOF CADILLAC. The record was released to rave reviews in underground ''zines and Chicago radio.
A loyal following was built in record time thanks to many early shows at high profile venues. Early on they were asked to play the 3 act showcase that got now heavy hitters DISTURBED signed.
They went on to hook up with many hometown heroes and national acts, including KITTIE, GWAR, FIVE POINTE 0, NO-ONE, SOIL, RELATIVE ASH and many more.
More recently THE INFAMOUS played an ASCAP showcase with AMERICAN HEADCHARGE, SOIL, and MACABRE.
Summer of 2002 THE INFAMOUS was hand-picked by the legendary FILTER to kick off thier "AMALGAMUT" cd release and played to the sold out crowd at Chicago''s House of Blues. The show helped the relationship between FILTER''S Frank Cavanagh and THE INFAMOUS grow, and so for the second release, "THE INFAMOUS...HIT LIST" they acquired Mr. Cavanagh and his considerable talents for production of the album. It has since been on heavy rotation on Chicago''s REBEL RADIO, TRITON RADIO WRRG, and q101''s local show. THE INFAMOUS are now getting spins Nationaly and overseas, Mexico and Europe and Japan.
THE INFAMOUS have just released the 3rd full length,once again co-produced by F. Cavanagh, entitled: "THE INFAMOUS...MADE", and it seems that T.I. just keeps getting stronger, as soon as the single "LIAR" off the new CD was made public on
