Details:
It would not be an exaggeration to say that Tom Ingram''s life is devoted to music. A singer/songwriter from Springfield, Massachusetts, his career spans more than 15 years. Currently appearing throughout New England in a trio under his own name, Ingram''s songbook includes selections from modern as well as classic rock ranging from Sublime to the Beatles. As vocalist for the U2 tribute, Zoo Station, from 1992-97, Ingram traveled the country and acquired tremendous experience fronting a band. His background also includes a BA in music education. He teaches middle school music in Hampden, Massachusetts.

Growing up, Ingram''s influences were the Beatles, Todd Rundgren, Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan and Stevie Wonder. Among his current influences are Radiohead, Elliott Smith, Duncan Sheik, Pete Yorn and Rufus Wainwright.

Ingram''s first CD, The Deep End, released in 2002 is best described as a labor of love. An eclectic mix of many musical traditions and three years in the making, it was recorded at Zing Studio in Westfield, Massachusetts. The artist believes his first release offers something for every kind of listener. Whether it''s old school rock, jazz or funk, you''ll find it on The Deep End.

His second CD, released in 2003, features 12 new songs. Also recorded at Zing Studio, Speed of Life was kicked off last summer at the Majestic Theater in West Springfield, Massachusetts. Co-produced and engineered with Jim Fogarty, Speed of Life, illustrates the wealth of material and depth from which Ingram writes. Ingram''s second effort is expected to be every bit as popular as his first. Critics rave about its "powerhouse guitar" and "retro sound."

Fans of Steely Dan, Sting or Ben Folds will love these two albums of smart, finely-crafted pop-rock gems. What would happen if one were to combine the hard-driving rock of Led Zeppelin, the grooves of Stevie Wonder, and the smoothness of Miles Davis? The Deep End and Speed of Life combine clever pop music with a touch of jazz.

Ingram is currently in the process of seeking management and hopes to be signed by a major label. Already, he has sold more than 1,000 copies of his CD at local clubs and over the internet.

Tom would like to thank everyone that supports his musical efforts. He hopes that his listeners get the same excitement and satisfaction from listening to his music that he gets from creating it.
